What to expect from the SAT?

The SAT is a widely recognized international standardized test. Here’s everything you need to know to approach the test, with complete up-to-date, well-organized materials, always accessible (literally at your fingertips!).

What’s on the SAT?

The SAT consists of 98 questions, to be completed in 134 minutes.

Test structure and Scoring system

Your Total Score is the sum of your Reading and Writing and Math section scores, ranging from 400 to 1600. Each section is scored between 200 and 800, based on the number of correct answers and question difficulty. No penalties for incorrect answers or unanswered questions. Your performance on Module 1 determines your potential score range for Module 2.

If you perform well on Module 1, you will receive a more challenging Module 2; if you perform less well on Module 1, you will receive an easier Module 2

2 modules, each with 22 questions to be answered in 35 minutes. Total: 44 questions in 70 minutes (including 4 experimental questions that are unscored). 75% of the questions are multiple-choice, while 25% require a "student-produced response" (fill-in-the-blank)
